Mashambanzou

This is the working title for the musical we're writing for God and the people of Zimbabwe. In Shona, "Mashambanzou" means the period of darkness just before dawn breaks. I pray that it is a fitting title and that this time in Zimbabwe really is mashambanzou. We pray that God will show Himself glorious in a mighty way so that the people there will come to know Him. We pray that God will just work through us to accomplish some part of this task. We are willing, and the Lord will make us able. I know in my heart that God is already working to help His people in Zimbabwe. It's amazing to see His hand in so many lives, in so many ways, all over the globe. I've been overwhelmed by His presence in all of this, and I'm so excited to be along for the ride!

This blog will actually be used in the presentation of the musical for Zimbabwe. We're going to put a lot of information and pictures on the site that our main characters will "happen upon" while surfing the internet. This way, we can kind of control what things are pulled up, etc.

Again, I'm so exicted about this project--if you want to be involved in any way, please post a message! After all, "It takes a village..."
